Membership
Prospective Members:
Membership in the Michigan Soldiers’ Aid Society is open to any person interested in the history if the American Civil War period (1861-1865); full membership is open to any person 15 years or older. It is important to note that the MSAS welcomes all impressions. We have members portraying both Union and Confederate civilians from all walks of life. It is also the policy of the MSAS to provide equal membership opportunities to all eligible persons without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, marital status, parental status, handicap, membership in a labor organization, and political affiliation.
Active Members enjoy all rights and privileges of voting on the
Society’s business and are eligible to hold any office. The Active Member must fulfill the following:
* Be current paid in dues ($25.00)
* Meet the authenticity requirements of the MSAS guidelines.
